Details: Noticed a fat little round bird along side the road with some Horned Larks. It flew off into the field but I saw its head pop up and saw yellow eyes. Was at that point suspecting Burrowing Owl and scrambling for my camera. I saw one bird appear on a reflector and then disappear I turned around and attempted a photo but just got a fuzzy blob. Then I saw another bird on a reflector in the opposite direction. Turned around again but this bird disappeared. Was waiting around a bit and then another bird appeared on a reflector out of nowhere. Finally, I was able to get a decent photo (bird in last two photos) and confirm my suspicions. BURROWING OWLS!!! At least three birds and possibly 6+ in this group. Then a bit further up the road I had a lighter colored individual that started posing for a photo shoot. I was also able to get good photos (presumably) of this bird on my way back down the hill after looking for Loggerhead Shrike.
