Cool and breezy from the southwest at the start, warming up nicely by mid morning. Clear skies. Impressive numbers of migrants, particularly Catharus thrushes, Savannah Sparrows, and Yellow-rumped and Palm Warblers.

    Details: Adult male. Heard singing typical Dickcissel song and giving the buzzy flight call several times. House Sparrow sized bird with yellow breast overlaid with a black "V", thick gray bill, streaked back, gray head, yellowish supercillium.
