Observations

  1. Number observed: 1

Comments: Two vultures observed eating the carcass of a cow by the side of a road. One was clearly an Himalayan Vulture, picture attached. This was not as shy as the other vulture and when approached did not fly even when within 7-8 feet.

    Media:
  2. Gyps sp.

    Number observed: 1

Comments: One of the two vultures observed near a carcass on the road side. Bird was large (posibly lightly larger ) than the Himalayan. From a distance it was dark brown uniformly with a dark ruff. It was quite shy (in comparision to the Himalayan Vulture) and it flew off quite fast with a run and a hop and jump off the steep cliff section. Could not seen its beak clearly. It could possibly be a Cinereous Vulture

  3. Number observed: 1

Comments: Male seen and heard singing
