Seabirding winter pelagic trip aboard the Stormy Petrel II. This covers our trip from Hatteras Inlet, along the south of Cape Hatteras, over Diamond Shoals and to the north off of Avon. We then turned and headed to the southeast offshore about 15 miles, then back around the shoals for the return to Hatteras Inlet. In addition to the birds seen, we also encountered 2 Humpback Whales, about 45 Bottlenose Dolphins, 1 Harbor Seal, and three Loggerhead and one young Kemps Ridley turtle.
