    Details: Mallards in various shades of hybrid browns with mottled dark heads and necks, black eye bands but overall hybrid of mallards muddled coloring both males and females.

    Details: many heard but not seen. Counted those seen. black body with white shield front lobe. Juvenile larger than adult, all over grey with fuzzy feathers. Fed by adult.

    Details: Adult with black back and cap, Silver winged and white fronted, red eye, black bill. Juvenile with brown body overall with large white spots and streaking, orange eye, green lore, yellow black bill.

    Details: Ibis long curved bill, Larger than other wading marsh birds, dark brown almost black body, some reddish coloration seen as light changed with cloud coverage around head and behind neck, black legs, too far to see eye color or lore. No noticeable white around face. Ibis long curved bill Grey. One bird appeared to have lighter speckling of feathers around head neck and face. Based on location in Hawaiian Islands and no previous sightings of glossy reported here, I would say this as 1st year Western White-Faced Ibis as the two species are virtually indistinguishable in non-breeding plumage and 1st years, and at this distance.

    Details: brown backed, buffy front with faint brown horizontal tight barring pattern, seed eater short black bill, red mask, black eye, faded red spot on front not always discernable. Light brown legs.
