  1. Number observed: 900

Details: Counted as 36 x 25 groups left while i was observing. They started leaving about an hour before sunset. The geese took turns swimming out from the islands or shore and gathering into a V on the water just W of one of the islands, in groups of about 36. There was one flight of geese that looked like cang definitely had higher, squeakier voices than the other cang 60 flew over just ahead of them

  3. Number observed: 1

Details: dark brownish bird with vertical white spot by a dark gray bill and there was a whitish patch on the side of its head. Dark eye not yellow like a Cogo. The profile of the head and bill seemed to be a straight line from the top of the head to the tip of the bill. I did not see a knob on the bill like a WWSC. The body profile is flatter to the water than a Mallard. It appeared to be alone swimming and diving a few times. I believe it may be the same bird I saw yesterday closer to the E end of the lake.
