70F, clear, low wind. 1+hr at Partridge Boardwalk, 30 minutes at Audubon Road and Exec Park. Winterberry shrubs full of berries, Aster blooming, lots of color in wetlands shrubs' leaves already - reds, browns, etc. Fairly quiet, but the thrushes were nice.

Comments: Close looks at the start of Partridge Boardwalk in a dense, dark, quiet wooded area near edge of the wetlands. They were maintaining contact with quiet "pit" calls - sounded like "wup." Spectacle look was bold - pale line extending out from eye ring to bill. Bold spotting. Dull grayish back feathers.

Comments: Distant group flying west around 6pm. First large blackbird flock I have seen this season. Estimated by 100's as they moved quickly - could be a large under count.
