Observations

  1. Number observed: 1

Comments: A drab brown sandpiper was flushed 3 times by myself and two other field technicians on a grassland bird project. Gave "qui-qui" vocalization when flushed; sounded just like the recording on the Audubon app. One technician who is from Michigan and is familiar with this species verified the identification. Unfortunately we did not have a camera and so were unable to get a photo. Habitat is dry pasture growing primarily native warm-season grasses on a University of Tennessee farm.

  2. Number observed: 3
Breeding Code: UN Used Nest (enter 0 if no birds seen) (Confirmed)
