with Don Kramer; ~13-15°C, winds light (Beaufort 1-2), ocean calm, cloudy bright to sunny; circumnavigation of the lagoon starting from bridge to washroom and back around lagoon to bridge via Royal Roads; with binoculars and spotting scope; birds seen and counted landward unless ocean noted in remarks
