Driving home with family, I peeked down at the marsh and found a large gathering of waders crammed into a small area of remaining shallow water near Audubon Road.

    Comments: Just before dark, some Least bathe and then sleep on a small peninsula that extends into a pond of the executive park. I counted them here tonight. Likely undercount as there are higher numbers foraging during the day.

    Comments: * First ever patch birds (per eBird). As best I could tell, they were not Little Blue Herons. Showed some black on legs, yellowish feet, yellow around the eye.
