Starting at the provincial border going and coming back. Taxi down to parking area, then walk along trail overlooking lake to fishing access, along shoreline slightly farther, then back up road to visitor center area and a look in the stream. Sunny at first, then clouding over and misting rain. Cold.

    Comments: One sleeping with coots at NW corner of lake, the rest in a loose flock out in middle of lake.

    Comments: High. Large loose group in NW corner, many more out towards east end in distance.

    Comments: Out on grassy plain across ridge to north from lake. First detected by call as a pair mobbed a caracara, then all four seen standing on the plain.

    Comments: Flying around near visitor center, then several sleeping on grass on the way out.

    Comments: **Very cool. Two close to road on grassy plateau above lake on the way up, then one alone and two pairs in the same area on the way back. None seen near lake.

    Comments: Possibly many more, seen soaring in every direction but only a couple seen at a time. Apparently feeding on a dead cow at one point, cow seen from the pinnacle of the trail over the lake but only a caracara on it at the time. Good looks at condors overhead several times over the course of the day.

    Comments: Only a handful around lake and ridge, but many in the grassy plateau with the ibis along the entrance road. Some close to road, most scattered farther out. One on cow carcass that later had condors.
