  2. Number observed: 2

Details: The birds seen were a whitish-bellied female and a sparkling green male, both near the house. The male was first spotted perching on a small twig in a guamá tree, preening its feathers, and its bill was very thin and slightly curved. Although it was emerald green both above and below, there appeared to be white feathers in the area of the under tail coverts.

  8. Number observed: 1

Details: I heard the call of this bird coming from the surrounding hillside, but I could not see it. This time the call consisted of four syllables, which sounded like "chup-chip, chup-CHIP" with the accent on the last syllable, similar to the Black-whiskered Vireo, but less sharp, less raspy, and more gurgling and melodious.

  11. Number observed: 1

Details: I heard the song of this bird coming from the surrounding wooded hills before I saw one of them. It was an adult and it was observed foraging on the lower branches of a tree that was covered with clinging vines. For the first time, I noticed that the orange feathers on the crown grow towards the back of the head in the form of a "W." I have tried to show this plumage design in the attached sketch done by myself.
