Details: Flyover seen at beginning of dirt road just past end of pavement; Alex says this is a late record as most have moved to Amazonia by now; slightly small than Roadside Hawk with broad rounded wings and longish tail, recalling a sticky Accipiter; underwings mostly rufous, tail black with ~3 narrow horizon tail bars

  17. falcon sp.

    Number observed: 1

  18. Number observed: 25

Details: Originally reported as Blue-bellied Parrot, corrected based on photo by Carlos Gussoni in Dec 2015. We recall being confused by these smallish parrots flying overhead, and I believe we planned to resolve the ID based on the photos but I do not recall why we decided on Blue-bellied initially. I don't recall feeling that there was more than one species involved, but do recall 3-4 flocks being seen. Given Chris's photos that clearly show red caps (and the Id confirmation by Carlos) we changed these to Pileated Parrot (P. pileata).
