I arrived this morning from New York and dropped my bag off and birded around here for the morning. While I had heard a lot about the reserva, this was my first trip here. Very fun. Seems like a great vagrant trap. Water conditions were disappointing with all water at the edge of the reserva close to town. Duck and waterbird numbers generally low.
