    Comments: Large flight of Common Loons all morning. Singles and small groups

    Comments: Quite a few swallows in this flight, lasting almost 3 hours, were close enough to identify absolutely as Cave Swallows or Cave/Cliff swallows. Realistically some of the swallows were too high or far to identify for certain, however, none of the identifiable swallows were other than CASW/CLSW species. Total swallow count, which were almost certainly all Cave Swallows: 148. Photos taken by Brandon Holden.

    BH Comments - large flight on newly discovered (but past suspected) flight line inland from the lakeshore. Photo'd 45+ birds, all of which were CASW - nothing seen on any bird to indicate anything else (but you never know) -
