Comments: Female or juvenile bird. Seen only in two very brief views; very vocal. Larger than nearby Cedar Waxwings; slimmer than nearby robins. Long, yellow tail, unmarked bright yellow on face, and much of underparts. Back grey. Fairly long, pointed bill. Two bold white wingbars, formed by the greater and median coverts; greater coverts with extensive pale edging covering at least half of the exposed covert feathers. Recorded, giving harsh "ch-ch-ch-ch" chatter series with brief whistles mixed in.
