    Comments: First spotted the bird with binoculars as it was coming out of the bay south of the lighthouse. Then watched with scope for a few minutes, as it circled a few times, and then proceeded up the coastline. At its closest it was app. 200 meters offshore.
    Small-ish shearwater, uniformly dark above. Underwings all pale white except for darker outer primaries. Body underneath was all white, including undertail coverts. Slight pale collar ending at nape.

    Comments: First heard the distinctive chip from shrubs on the coast guard grounds. Located the bird just north of the radio building. Seen well with binoculars from app. 40 feet away. Medium sized warbler. Dull and streaky except for bright yellow undertail coverts and tace of yellow in supercillium. Cap darker. Flanks dull gray and streaked. Pumping tail. Chip note distinctive.
