    Details: From tower at Araras lodge Yvette spotted them down below in wetland. Since we were looking down could see between veg stems. Scoped them too.

    Details: 1 roosting in tree across from the tower at Araras Lodge. Was able to get nice scoped veiws of it in canopy.

    Details: A pair by the lodge and then pair in a palm driving out of Araras Lodge on 26th gave good looks. Sun was setting so nice light but levels too low for photos but video pretty good. Massive bills, impressive bird.; Photo: yes

    Details: Best seen at Araras Lodge on 1st boardwalk were one was making a nest low down in a bush.

    Details: Heard a male (Paulo picked out) fairly close to the boardwalk through Gallery forest going to big tower at Araras Lodge on 26. Despite getting playing my calls it moved further away and never saw it. Was going to try calling on way back but stayed up so long with Howlers it was too dark. saw female later in trip but never the male.

    Details: Apparently not common this time of year in Pantanal. Saw one later in the day from the big tower at Araras Lodge. Scoped it, but it was a long way down and away.

    Details: The common lodge-ground bird. They were the most cheeky bird at Araras lodge, diving into the basket to steal food off the table. Despite their presence they were hard to take pictures of never sitting still long and, jerking about and not liking the camera pointed at them.
