My mouth genuinely fell open when I put up my camera to scan the Pinkies favourite pond and found three... then five... then ten... the average count I could manage was seventeen, but I strongly suspect there were more! I spent a blissful twenty minutes watching them performing their circular feeding ballet, bobbing around in droves, and also noticing their curious prevalence for spinning in the water while they preened. They seem to enjoy going in circles! Surely the most adorable of all the Australian ducks!

Most of which, curiously, formed a raft in the Pinkies pond. This is the first time they'd congregated there that I can remember.
