Duration:
5 hour(s)
Distance:
20.0 kilometer(s)
Observers:

Comments:
Road to Karumba re-opened last night. Enormous numbers of marsh terns near road. Tide too high to survey shorebirds so focus was on Delta Downs floodplains and town. Mangrove access limited. Waterfowl have either not arrived in large numbers, are dispersed due to floods or hidden in growth about plains. I expect this to change dramatically over the next few weeks if no further rains.
