Comments:
Sitting in dead trees on the fringe of the old tip site but is too far away to be able to determine eye colour for age. Definitely a Grey Goshawk which I have not seen previously in this area (nearly 40 years). The area is abundant with birdlife - Galahs, hawks, Green and Eastern Rosellas, wattlebirds, butcherbirds, sparrows, fairywrens, greenfinches, Sulphur-crested Cockatoos and Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos. Not able to get a meaningful photo but bird is identical to that on the Parks and Wildlife Service website. Greg Ryan #233711
