Heard calling four times in about 15 minutes from a maize field near the north-east corner of the large lagoon to the west of the end of the road. There is access towards the lagoon about 200-250 metres before the end of the road, and the field is next to the barbed wire fence that blocks access to the lagoon. Other button quail calls were checked.
