superb adult pair sitting up in the lone tall eucalypt on the Meroo hill. Watched them for about 10 mins before they took off, then pursued by ravens and magpies (birds took no interest while they were perched). First perched and call records locally despite frequent flight sightings.

strange record of 2 males in what may have been a territorial dispute, chasing each other around the lower garden then up into acacia and red ash trees. Have not even heard a lyrebird for several months, so surprising
