Pair overhead, one with a much smaller paler bird (extensive tawny colouration underneath) which appeared to be begging in flight from the adult. I think last young raised by this pair would have been 2 years ago

4 birds inc 2 dark youngsters drinking from puddle on Mill Rd. Another 2 on Bells Line of Rd next morning. Breeding may be linked to heavy privet fruiting season this winter. 8 birds seen Mill Rd same location on 29 Jul 0700.
