On Sunday, October 27th, the County Coordinators for the Maryland-DC Breeding Bird Atlas 3 team met at the Gwynbrook WMA to discuss the upcoming project. With most counties represented, the day consisted of reviewing project expectations and responsibilities, communication methodology, review of the eBird platform and the ability to discuss other topics among the team. Gabriel Foley, MDDCBBA3 Project Coordinator stated “I couldn’t be more excited to be working with such a fantastic group of people for the Atlas. The enthusiasm in the room was palpable. Their involvement with the Atlas ensures it is going to be a very successful, and very fun project.” The project kicks off January 1, 2020, and if this meeting is any indication, it will be very successful.
