International Migratory Bird Day Spring Counts
International Migratory Bird Day events offer an ideal opportunity to gather information about birds. If your organization is hosting an IMBD event or program that includes a birdwalk or birdathon, make your sightings even more valuable by submitting the data to eBird. Submitting your data is also a great tool for teaching participants in your bird walk the importance of recording information, the value of maintaining long-term data, and details about how to conduct an accurate bird count.
The information you submit will not only become part of eBird's growing database, but will also be recognized by International Migratory Bird Day at www.birdday.org. Getting started is easy.
