Checklist Comments

Chumming stand here again, and again it was productive. Second day of BBC Pelagic trip. We began at Oceanographer Canyon where we chummed for three hours and had very productive results. Then we motored slowly east with a following sea towards Welker Canyon, and made another chumming stand along the deep wall of Welker Canyon. After some more productive chumming, we turned and headed north, stopping just a couple times for Audubon's Shearwaters and a couple other groups of birds. Seas 3-6 ft, slacking off to 1-3 ft once we were in cooler water on the shelf. Water temperatures around 78-79 F while in Shelf water, dropping slowly to 74 inshore and then abruptly to 62 when up on the shoals, which were quite foggy.
