I took a boat out from Marina Palmira, to the sea mound, Abajo. We traveled thru San Lorenzo Channel, and north along the east side of Isla Espirtu Santos and then north east to the sea mounds.We returned the same way. We were looking for Red-billed Tropicbirds that had been reported by a fisherman.

    Details

    The bulk of these birds were gathered near Bahia Lobos, near the white rock. A small chubasco had hit as we returned and they were all air borne!
