Details
Driving slowly along Russell Road, I spied a yellow/black bird perched on a snag about 25 feet west of us. Both vehicles stopped. We all knew the bird but none of us got a photo. It was a male with full black hood (head, nape, shoulders and breast); yellow belly, vent and under-tail coverts plus yellow wing bars. Located prior to where we stopped at the house with a running stream and a few other good birds.

Details
Among the many Common Ravens at the landfill, we each spotted one in flight that was smaller and had a fan-shaped tail rather than wedge-shaped. Photo shows it as expected for Chihuahuan with long nasal bristles on itsashorter stouter bill than Common Raven.
