Checklist Comments

Filling in for John Trochet this month. Joined by Dan Kopp. 43 to 73F. Calm, 25%cc. Ran the typical route with a visit to the Accidental Forest followed by a walk down Wood Duck Slough and across the berm to the main forest. We returned to the vehicle via the west side road and checked the rice fields, took a lunch break at the Shack, and checked the pasture and some more rice fields on the way back to the gate. There was a lot of dragonfly activity and we heard several calling tree frogs.
