Pennsylvania Audubon
The mission of Audubon Pennsylvania is to serve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and earth’s biological diversity. Audubon Pennsylvania and its chapters offer a comprehensive approach to conservation by providing its “citizen scientists” opportunities to contribute their talents and time to worthwhile science-based projects. It also connects people with nature through education and ecotourism, starting at home and extending to the wilds. The PA Important Bird Areas Program includes a network of sites distributed across the state.
